The rail network in Lithuania is composed of the following trains

Regional connects Vilnius with the rest of the country.

  • 1st Class: Rows of three seats (2+1), offering more leg room
  • 2nd Class: Rows of four seats (2+2) , or compartments of 6
  • Reservations not required, but recommended from Vilnius – Klaipėda

International trains from Lithuania:

Kaunas – Bialystok, Poland
Runs only on Monday, Saturday and Sunday only.
Bicycles and luggage storage facilities are available.

Vilnius – Daugavpils, Latvia – Riga, Latvia
In Daugavpils, there is a transfer available to a Latvian train heading toward Riga.

Best Time To Travel To Lithuania
