Best Time To Travel To Costa Rica
We recommend visiting Costa Rica anytime from December to April, due to it being the dry season. This is the country’s busiest time of year due to the weather, but this is also when you can expect to partake in many activities or see incredible places. Costa Rica is known for its nature such as the cloud forests, rainforests, white sand beaches, volcanoes, hot springs to name a few, and its incredible wildlife.
Come to visit the sloth center (in Cahuita), watch nesting turtles on the beach, see amazing butterflies or hummingbirds, or get underwater to see hammerhead sharks. Costa Rica is also known for its adventure sports which you can’t miss whether that be zip-lining, white water rafting, ATVing, mountain biking, canyoning, caving bungee jumping, or surfing*. Whether visiting for nature, adventure, or relaxation, this country will offer you the Pura Vida.
*The best time for surfing is during the wet season.
