The African Explorer offers 2 different compartments:

ELEFANT
In the Elephant category, the African Explorer features 5 carriages, each consisting of 5 compartments. These compartments offer approximately 7 m² of space and are designed to provide utmost comfort during the journey. Each compartment in the Elephant category is equipped with a private bathroom that includes a shower, toilet, and washbasin. Guests have the option to choose between a double bed, measuring approximately 189 x 160 cm (across the train) or 189 x 189 cm (lengthwise to the train), or two single beds, measuring approximately 189 x 75 cm. Additionally, each compartment is furnished with a closet and hangers to accommodate personal belongings.

LEOPARD

The Leopard category in the African Explorer consists of a total of 5 carriages, each containing 3 suites. These suites offer approximately 10 m² of space, providing ample room for relaxation and comfort. Each suite in the Leopard category features a double bed, measuring approximately 189 x 160 cm (across the train) or 189 x 189 cm (lengthwise to the train), or two single beds, measuring approximately 189 x 75 cm. Additionally, this category includes a private bathroom and a small sitting area, allowing guests to unwind in their own private space. One advantage of the Leopard category is its location on the train, which offers shorter distances to the restaurant, ensuring convenient access to dining facilities

Furthermore the African Explorer is equipped with a bar car, a lounge car with open viewing platform, asmoking lounge and two restaurant cars.


