How does it work?

The Renfe Spain Pass allows more flexibility with routes and dates when traveling. It is personalized and non-transferable. The pass is valid on all long- and medium-distance trains (except sleeping cabins) for 6 months from the date of issue and is valid for 1 month from the date of departure.

Please have your passport ready when you start booking the Renfe Spain Pass, as you will need it for this stage. After booking the train pass, it will be sent to you as a PDF. You will then need to print this document and carry it with you on your trip.
Seat reservations must be made prior to departure.

The costs for the reservations are already included in the price. Once you have received your Renfe Spain Pass, you can start booking the desired trains.

You can use regional train connections for free up to 4 hours before and after the departure of your booked train.

After you have made your reservation, no need to worry about anything. You will only need to carry your printed Renfe Spain Pass and your reservation.
