Best Time To Travel To Zimbabwe
Boasting to have over 320 days of sunshine, Zimbabwe is a wonderful place to visit! Although there may be days of sunshine there are also a couple of rainy days throughout the rainy season from November to March. These heavy rains may affect the roads throughout the country and are not ideal months for safaris.
If you’d like to go on a safari, the best time is from May to October when the country is at its driest and the animals search for water sources. If wanting to avoid higher prices, we recommend visiting Zimbabwe earlier in the dry season. Enjoy the spectacular views of Victoria Falls year-round, however, the months offering the most dramatic vistas are in April and May after the rainy season has ended.
- Busy Season: July to October, December
- Rainy Season: November to March
