Best Time To Travel To Uganda
We recommend visiting Uganda any time from June to March, basically avoiding April and May altogether. These are the months with the heaviest rains which will affect safaris and infrastructure across the country. In Uganda there are many opportunities to spot wildlife and the best gorilla trekking and can be done during the two dry seasons January, February as well as from June to September. These times offer the best chances to see the beautiful beasts as well as chimpanzees. As for big game drives and safaris in the national parks, these are best at the end of the dry season around February, March, as well as September through mid-October.
- Rainy Season: April, May, October, November
- Dry Season: January to March, June to September, December
