Good to know

Best Time To Travel To Iran

We recommend travelling to Iran anytime in the spring or autumn to avoid icy, snow blocked mountain roads and staying clear of the extremely hot summer; however, in the winter months feel free to visit one of the amazing islands Iran has. Not often seen as beach and island destination, Iranian islands are incredibly diverse and unlike any islands you’ve visited before.

Whilst in Iran, enjoy the rich culture and tasty food that surrounds you wherever you go. There are plenty of festivals and celebrations throughout the year such as Nowruz (the Iranian New Year), and Ramadan. Keep in mind that during Ramadan eating and drinking in public is forbidden and strictly enforced. Another good thing to know is that Fridays are days of rest so Thursday and Friday are seen as the weekend and Saturday and Sunday are part of the normal work week.
