Best Time To Travel To Djibouti

We recommend travelling to Djibouti anytime between November and March due to the cooler weather. Djibouti is hot year-round however during these months it’s slightly cooler and a bit more bearable when it comes to sightseeing. Although a small country, Djibouti has quite a lot to offer.

Things not to miss here are a visit to Lac Abbe and Lac Assal, two very interesting lakes offering different scenes where you will see flamingoes, white salted beaches, as well as smoking chimneys. Make a trip to Plage des Sables Blancs for time sun and sand time, dive with whale sharks, go hiking in the Goda Mountains or stop in to see the Abourma Rock engravings from the Neolithic era.
